Fourth of July Parade
Many years ago, Moab was the home to our annual Fourth of July Parade that made its way through our home. Unfortunately, the parade was shut down and has been absent from the county calendar for some time. 2023 marks the first time in years that the Fourth of July Parade will take place again! The parade will take place on July 4th starting at 9:00 am along 400 East before it makes its way to the local high school. While details are still being finalized, you can expect plenty of parade favorites such as patriotic floats and costumes on display. Don’t miss out on taking part in this returning event!
Return of the Grand County Fair
Another exciting event that will be returning this year in Moab is the Grand County Fair. This will be the first large scale county fair in Moab in the past twenty years. This year, Moab has been focused on community involvement and the idea of bringing back the Grand County Fair was approved. This 5-day event will have all the wonderful fair activities such as carnival games, a softball tournament, junior rodeo, face painting, and more. The event will end on July 4th after the parade for a culmination of activities for the Fourth of July. Come experience the Moab community by visiting the Grand County Fair.
Visit a National Park
The best way to celebrate our country’s birthday is by visiting one of its many national parks, two of which are located right here in Moab. You can enjoy a visit to either the Arches National Park or Canyonlands National Park for unbelievable views past red rock mountains and arches. It is always hot in the parks in July so make sure you pack appropriately!
