Moab’s prime location within proximity to some of the country’s most beautiful national parks is a draw for travelers year-round. While many adventurers head this way in the spring and summer to enjoy time at Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, a Christmas getaway is also a great time to explore the terrain without having to contend with so many crowds. When your holiday plans have you heading this way, make sure to pack your coat and hiking boots and plan on spending some quality time out in nature. Depending on how cold it gets, you might be lucky enough to see the many sandstone arches covered in a light dusting of snow this time of year.
